Does anyone know the commute times from Southlake, TX to downtown Dallas in both crest and non peak hours?

We are moving to the area and just want to understand what the traffic is really going to be matching if we get jobs downtown. Thanks everyone!

peak, 1-1.5 hours... non-peak 30-45 minutes Abroad of Southlake are really pretty, and they have good schools and some nice homes...but, it is very white-bred suburbs... Unexcelled of luck to you.
  • I'd give that commute a good solid hour. There are only a couple of places with worse traffic than Dallas, in my thesis - L.A., and Houston. If you can find a way to take a bus, light rail, etc., I'd grab it if I were you!
  • I'm in southlake and work in Dtown Dallas. From my house figure at least 1hr 30 min to get to solve and this is if there is not a wreck. on the way home look to be sitting in the car for about the same sometimes maybe 2 hours. I've driven on the west coast and east beach and Dallas is the worst. If you have ever driven in Mexico City then you'll be ok if you haven't get ready to be shocked. If there is rain, sleet, ice or precipitation traffic is a standstill. When the temp hits 40 degrees or lower we Texans can't drive. I dont certain why but the whole area shuts down. southlake four square west linn
